Vainquish

The network

The best way to stop hackers is to hire the ones who used to be hackers.

Vainquish runs a vetted, contracted advisory network of people who spent years inside the criminal underground and now work the other direction. They are the reason our intelligence is not simply the same public feed everyone else buys.

  • Vetted and contracted
  • Compartmentalised access
  • Ethics agreement required

Why it matters

Threat feeds tell you what already happened.

By the time a technique is written up, catalogued and shipped in a commercial feed, it has been in use for months. That lag is fine for reporting and useless for protection. Consumer security products almost universally live inside it.

People who have operated in that world see the shape of a method forming — the tooling being traded, the pretext being tested, the marketplace where a dataset first appears. That is context, and context is what turns an alert into a decision.

What the network provides

Five things an algorithm cannot supply.

  • Real-time underground intelligence

Direct visibility into emerging attack methods, exploit kits and criminal marketplace activity that no automated system monitors reliably.

  • Zero-day awareness

Knowledge of vulnerabilities and attack vectors circulating before they are published or patched.

  • Social engineering pattern recognition

An operator’s understanding of the manipulation behind phishing, vishing and spear-phishing — the part that actually works on people.

  • Dark web ecosystem mapping

Deep familiarity with the forums, markets and channels where consumer data is traded, and which of them are worth watching.

  • Ethical penetration testing

On Wraith, that offensive skill is applied directly: an annual authorised test of your own digital footprint, with a remediation report.

Vetting and governance

Reformed is a status you have to keep earning.

Trusting people with this history requires more structure, not less. Every member goes through the same multi-stage process before they see anything, and stays inside defined limits afterwards.

Nobody in the network has broad access to subscriber data. Intelligence roles are compartmentalised by design, and the boundaries are contractual as well as technical.

  1. 01

    Background verification

Full identity verification, legal history review, and reference checks with law enforcement contacts where applicable.

  2. 02

    Skills assessment

Technical evaluation by Vainquish security leadership to validate claimed expertise rather than take it on reputation.

  3. 03

    Ethics agreement

A signed legal agreement governing use of knowledge, confidentiality obligations and prohibited activity.

  4. 04

    Ongoing monitoring

Continuous behavioural monitoring and quarterly performance review — entry is not a permanent credential.

  5. 05

    Compartmentalisation

Members operate in defined intelligence roles under strict access control. No member sees the whole picture.

Protection built by people who know how it’s done.

That knowledge reaches every tier — as live intelligence on Ghost and Phantom, and as hands-on testing on Wraith.
